If you know me AT ALL, you know my love for Charcuterie. It's not only that it is SO amazing on the taste buds. But, I really feel that it is the perfect food for talking and eating. And if you know me x2, you know how much I love to talk!!
I was lucky enough to be treated to dinner by two girls that I have known for almost 12 years now, but truly only began to bond with in this past year. Brooke, Christal & I, all went to high school together, but I have recently only re-connected with them through Church!
All three of us go to Celebration Church Edmonton, while Brooke and I attend The Project, at Millwoods Assembly as well! And I just have to tell you how much of a blessing it has been to gain their friendship over this past year.
Having people not only on your life journey that are like minded, but also on your spiritual one can be SUCH A BLESSING. I am truly learning SO much from them, and love hearing their thoughts and opinions on things. Proverbs 27:17 says, As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.
These girls are pushing me SO much to grow, and they probably do not even know it. Their friendship really has been one of my biggest blessings!
Proverbs 27:17 (NLT)
17 As iron sharpens iron,
so a friend sharpens a friend.
But, let's talk just a little bit more about the food, shall we ? I say only a little bit because, typically when I am the one out with my friends, I am the one that takes the reigns when ordering the food. But both Brooke, and Christal work in the food and nutrition department, so ... I tend to let them take control when it comes to ordering, and let me tell ya... They haven't failed me yet.
The food was SOOOO good!
Do you like Charcuterie? Do you like eating food this way ? Or find it too much work ?
