Cinderella is pretty much my all time favourite Disney movie, like legit, can my first dance be to, So This Is Love ?
So not joking...
But anyways, a few weeks ago, I was able to catch up with my friend Claire, and we hit up the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald for breakfast. And as bougie as it may have seemed to go for a casual breakfast there on a Friday morning... Honestly, I don't think either of us spent more than $20 each, and we both were stuffed. It was one of the first super hot days here in Edmonton. We were able to over look the rivervalley ( although still quite brown, we will defo have to take a trip back there soon now that its more green and lush out ).
... and honestly, just kinda felt like a real Disney princess- esque moment.
I actually found myself humming, a dream is a wish your heart makes.
... but then that got me thinking about dreams, and how they aren't really something you should just sit around wishing for, they're something that you should totally put in the work to make them happen.
I have been working myself absolutely ragged ( which i am not saying is a good thing ), but I am starting to get SO excited with things that are upon the horizon, the dreams of mine that are starting to finally come to life. But the last thing I did was WISH for them to happen, I made them happen.
... Now don't worry, i'll stop before I completely wreck the Disney dream, and facade for you - and my rant is over. But seriously, if you want something, go out there, and work for it. I promise you won't regret it.
