Oh hello there!
I am not too sure how many of you are familiar with Pastor Chad Veach... But he is somebody that I have just LOVED learning from in this past year. See the second time I ever went to my church, he was preaching at it... And I totally didn't realize he was a guest speaker, and thought how cool is this guy ??
That being said, our awesome Pastor's brought him back for a leadership conference here in Edmonton, and I was SO excited to see and hear him preach again.
I love how Ps. Chad has a way of being so unapologetically himself, but 1. has tact, and is not rude, and 2. can back up his perspectives with scripture. Not too mention his humour is something to witness!!
Not to mention, Ps. Chad has just released his first book, Unreasonable Hope.
Pastor Chad Veach is a leading voice to this generation, who travels both nationally and internationally. He has devoted his life to loving God, loving people, building the local Church and has authored the book, “Unreasonable Hope: Finding Faith in the God Who Brings Purpose to Your Pain.” Chad and his wife Julia have three beautiful children: Georgia (“GiGi”), Winston (“Dub-C”) & Maverick (“Mav”). After 15 years of ministry, Pastors Chad & Julia pioneered ZOE Church in August, 2015. They look forward to serving as lead pastors of Zoe Church in Los Angeles, CA.
As a part of the fee for the conference, we were emailed the audio for the sessions... In which I have kindly listed below. I legitimately have listened to these like 6 times each already, there is SO much wisdom in them, and SO many golden nuggets! I am also finding as I come back to listen to these, I hear something that I never heard before, probably because my perspective is changing as I grow.
Next time i'm in California I am going to make it a HUGE effort to get down to ZOE LA, and if you are ever in the area I urge you to too! How are some of your mentors / teachers from afar ? Did hearing them speak / preach in person have an effect on you more so than listening to their podcasts?
