If you watched my last vlog, you would know that I have decided to host a small group this semester! I've decided to keep it all ladies, and to base it off of the book Captivating, by Stasi and John Elderedge.
At the end of the last small group that I attended this book was recommended to me by my two friends, Brett and Candace after telling them what I would choose to talk about in a small group, if I did so choose to host one. About 10 pages into the book, I had texted Candace and was like... This is perfect, and exactly what I am wanting to talk about !
That being said, I read the book, and also picked up the audiobook version of it. I have decided that in our small group, we will read the book, have a slight discussion, and pair that up with a super "girly" activity. Understandably so, " girly " is a very vague term, but I don't have another word to define it.
But some of the activities I would like to do over the course of the 12 weeks would be, flower arranging, baking, painting, paper flowers, a tea party... Can you catch the feel I am going for yet ?
This week I decided to do up do's on the girls, and I thought I'd share some of the pics from the day!
We also have decided that due to the time of our small group ( it is Sunday's at 4 ) and since service starts at 7. That we thought it would probably best if we did some sort of potluck so we aren't dying of hunger by time service rolls around.
I also set up a little hair station, which personally I thought was super cute!
Only two weeks in, but it was SO nice to see how some of the girls have come out so much more out of their shell and are sharing more!
Which style is your favourite ? Do you like when the hair is all up ? Or do you like some of it down ?
