If you have fine hair, you know that it comes with it’s own challenges.

Now if you have frizzy, fine, curly hair… you know what is a nightmare and a half. Back in Canada when I used to work as a hairstylist, people used to come to me asking how to keep their fine hair from tangling all the time. And truthfully, I didn’t have much answer for them, because I was in the same boat too.

And with that, having curly fine hair… I find if I wear my hair curly more often, those knots can get even more intense!

Recently I have been sent over a brush from MANTA, which is designed to protect. Basically meaning, due to the mould / design of this brush, it is shaped to fit your hand and scalp. And therefore creating less tension on each strand with every stroke, while stimulating the scalp to promote healthy hair growth.

As my hair gets so tangled, so easily, I am typically trying to use a tool that won’t put much stress on my hair. And as my hair is so fine, I am desperately trying to hold on to every strand possible to maintain as thick of hair as possible.

It’s a hard life out here for us who feel like we have a total of five strands of hair on our heads.

The Manta brush was invented by Tim Binnington, a professional hair stylist, who’s wife had a life threatening disease and had lost her hair. And as it was growing back he observed her brushing through her hair with her fingers, as opposed to a comb or brush, as she was too scared to cause any breakage.

Combining Tim’s years of experience as a stylist he patented the FLEXGUARD technology on the base of the Manta and developed a brush that would be as gentle on your hair as running your hands through it.

The FLEXGUARD technology on the base enables each bristle to have complete 360 degree motion to gently free knots, and minimise breakage. Created from soft touch material, which basically means no rough edges to catch or tear the hair shaft. The MANTA glides responsively through the hair for minimum breakage and maximum shine. The MANTA is ideal for anyone who has struggled with hair breakage, hair loss, and fineness.

What is even cooler about the MANTA, is that with every 10 brushes that is sold, 1 goes to a person with cancer.

Do you have fine hair ? If you do, it’s worth knowing that daily brushing causes irreversible damage to the hair that no treatment can repair. So with that I am LOVING the MANTA, as it is helping me keep my hair in the healthiest condition as possible.
